This project reimagines traditional Sesotho blankets as surreal art pieces, each centered around the iconic Mokorotlo hat, presented as a set of crowns. The series consists of four unique blankets, each representing a different metaphorical scene.

Pronounced ‘Izi-Kaza’ – These are traditional patterns commonly used as clip-on earrings which were popularly worn as a symbol in the olden days to differentiate ethnic tribes.
Today, ‘amacici’ (earrings) are worn as form of self expression.


She is the future. A brand new dawn. The rebirth of the heritage of those who came before her. Her dimensions go beyond just that of an analogue girl living in a digital world. She is the Afropolitan of tomorrow.




Right2Protest wants to guide protesters and use their organization to ensure that advocacy is enforced for all those exercising their constitutional right to protest by providing them with legal assistance across South Africa. I created a series of 50 hand drawn illustrations that represent an ideal world where protesters can exercise their constitutional rights in a peaceful place of dissent.
